Materials and Processes
The EOS M4 ONYX combines high-performance hardware to meet demanding industrial requirements with a robust portfolio of materials and processes. Proven processes at launch include Ti64 and IN718, featuring a new 60 µm parameter set, ensuring consistent part quality across a wide range of applications.
The Ti64 60µm process offers faster production speeds, improved microstructure, reduced porosity, and better surface finish. Optimized powder utilization minimizes waste, supporting sustainability and lowering total cost of ownership. Advanced process control further improves productivity and quality.
