Materials and Processes

The EOS M4 ONYX combines high-performance hardware that meets demanding industrial requirements with a robust portfolio of materials and processes. The proven processes at launch include Ti64 and IN718, featuring a new 60µm parameter set, ensuring consistent part quality across a wide range of applications.

The Ti64 60µm process offers faster fabrication speeds, improved microstructure, reduced porosity, and better surface finish. Optimized powder utilization minimizes waste, supporting sustainability and lowering the total cost of ownership. Advanced process control further enhances productivity and quality.
